Fr. Peter Drury

Departed this life on Monday 24th. September 2001.
Famous for his dry Lancashire wit and ability to say something provocative to make you think, Fr. Peter (who also taught at the Kings' School Tynemouth during the 60's) will be greatly missed by the many people who love him.

Our prayers go out to his wife, Wilma.

May he rest in peace...     ...and rise in glory.
 

Brewis Wellock

Departed this life sometime between Sunday 17th. June2001 and the morning of Monday 18th. June 2001 when his body was found in his home in Cowpen, Blyth.
Brewis was the chapter leader of the Saint Oswin's Chapter of the Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary (Northumberland - England).
Brewis will be greatly missed by all at his parish church of Saint Benedict's, in Cowpen (Blyth). He was, and will always be, greatly loved by those he knew and met, not only in the Servers' Guild, but by all those he knew and worked with in the parish as well as in Deanery and Diocesan Synod.

Peggy Fail

Regular worshiper and loved member of Saint George's Parish Church congregation in Cullercoats, N.E.England. Died at about 0500hrs on Sunday 10th. June 2001.
 

Perry Como

Popular Singer over seven decades, and the inventor of the "Christmas Television Special", who has brought so much joy to so many people died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 87 on Saturday 12th. May 2001.
 

Douglas Adams

Author of the "Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and the man who told us that the secret to flying was falling to the ground....        ....and MISSING!
died suddenly at the age of 49 on Saturday 12th. May 2001.
 

Wynn Hull

Please pray Wynn, who died suffering from pneumonia and a collapsed lung. With no pain and sleeping a lot, she was frightened and worried, but passed on to the loving care of our Lord and Saviour shortly after 0100hrs on Good Friday 13th. April (New Zealand time). Also please remember her only son Christopher, his wife Kim and Wynn's grandchildren.
 

Sarah Elaine James

A student of the Department of English & Drama, Queen Mary College, London, who died following a short illness from meningitis on 24 February.

There was a memorial service on Friday 16 March 2001 at 1.30 pm in the Harold Pinter Studio, Arts Building, Mile End Campus, which was very well attended.
 

Rest eternal, grant unto them O Lord,
and let light-perpetual shine upon them.

May they Rest in Peace - and Rise in Glory.
